Behind the Design
I've been designing long enough to stop counting the years, and I still grin like an idiot when a messy idea finally clicks into something clean. Some people chase that feeling with coffee. I get it from a perfectly aligned grid. No notes, no regrets.
These days I live on Amazon, where I've spent years turning vague briefs and "just make it pop" into listing images, A+ Content, Brand Stories and storefronts that actually sell. My signature lives in color, typography, and composition: the palette that sets the mood, the type that carries the voice, the layout that closes the sale.
My honest take? Design isn't decoration. It's deliberate communication, where every choice is there for a reason. The magic lives in that sweet spot where something looks fantastic and quietly does its job, where good taste and hard work stop competing and start pulling in the same direction.
Because design that works doesn't just get noticed, it gets felt. It makes a total stranger pause, lean in, and care. That's the part I'm hooked on, and all this time later, I'm still happily chasing the high.
Outside the Design
When the laptop closes, I'm usually out on my bike or somewhere on the road with the windows down. Two wheels or four, I just like moving. My legs and my fuel budget have both filed complaints.
Home base is the Philippines, where I live happily outnumbered by my wife, our kid, and two Yorkshire terriers running an unlicensed dictatorship from the couch. They're in charge. I just pay rent and provide snacks.
Travel is my favorite kind of chaos, ideally somewhere new with the whole crew and absolutely no itinerary. On the quiet days, you'll find me deep in a video game, defending my personal record for "losing track of time" like it's an Olympic event.
So, that's me. Part pixel perfectionist, part wandering road tripper, fully fueled by good details, good rides, and the people (and dogs) I'd happily reroute my whole life around.
